Sometimes in life we forget to do things. Sometimes when thanking people we forget to acknowledge others. It dawned on me recently about a man I need to pay homage to. Troy king I've already wrote an article on but here's someone else I need to pay thanks to as well.
Well I first started my foray into Political journalism no one would talk to everyone ignored me. People would not even return emails. I didn't know what else to do but then one day someone said yes.
Micah Messer became the first candidate seeking office to let me interview him. .
Then after the interview Micah gave me constructive criticism that I took the heart and told me things that I could do to better myself. I've listened to him and Hope I lived up to his expectations..
So I want to say thank you Micah for all your help and for being the first candidate to let me interview them. I know the votes didn't go the way we wanted them but it seems that you're on to bigger and better things. Too bad though you would have made a great representative.
