Trump Endorsement Boosts Moore’s Betting Odds as Marshall Retains Lead in Recent Alabama Poll

​Like a fire bell in the night, President Trump's endorsement of Congressman Barry Moore in the 2026 Alabama Republican Senate race has focused all eyes on the contest to see who will be the state's next junior senator.

​The Moore campaign wasted no time promoting the proclamation from the President, and news outlets across the state broadcasted the announcement from Truth Social as well. The Marshall campaign, undeterred, issued a statement from the Attorney General stating he "will not back down."

​Moore’s campaign seems to have received a bolt of energy, as betting markets have seen his chances of winning rise from 15% to 79%. Meanwhile, a poll released by Yellowhammer News revealed this is still anyone’s race. With less than four months to go, 52% of voters are still undecided.

​The data showed Attorney General Marshall coming in first with 26%, Congressman Moore at 13%, with former Navy SEAL Jared Hudson close behind at 10%, and Rodney Walker and Morgan Murphy bringing up the rear at 2% and 1%, respectively.

One thing is for certain: this is shaping up to be an exciting race as we head into the heart of the campaign season.
