Remember the 1948 campaign when Truman gave them hell that after all his what they called the campaign
"give 'em hell Harry" as he railed against the "82nd do nothing congress ."Well, I don't know what number it is but we have a do nothing legislature.
Do you ever read the bills down there? There's a tax hike, after-tax hike, and after-tax hike, that are hidden in bills words like increase expenditures and tax receipt. Call it what it is tax hikes.
A bill in particular though caught my eye. The legislature tried to abolish the state auditor position. Why did they do that? They wanted to pass it on to the State Treasury. I've met Young Boozer, a very nice man, but he has a lot to do with handling the treasury of the state that is too much to put on one man having to audit school buses and things of that nature.
There is a reason they want to get rid of it. And it has nothing to do with saving taxpayers' dollars or they would not be blowing them the way they are. All you have to do folks is follow the money.
