To describe Donald Trump as polarizing is an understatement. You either love him or hate him. There is no in-between. I'm not here to make a case for either side.
Love or hate the one thing you can't take away from Donald Trump is he is an entertainer. There's never a boring moment when Trump's around. Again you love it or hate it.
I imagine a second Trump presidency would resemble much the same as the first. For good or bad you are going to love it or hate it. You know what you're getting going in. I've never quite seen anyone like him before nor do I understand how he got turned into a deity but it is what it is.
With his poll numbers rising and a coalition of his candidates winning when my friends asked me if he's running I always reply "God willing and the Creek don't rise."
A Biden-Trump rematch would be interesting but both men are advancing in years. I'm not sure if 80-something-year-old men should be running the White House. But regardless I don't think we've seen the last of Donald Trump on the campaign trail running for president.
Now people vote with their pocketbooks and right now people's checking accounts aren't that good. With record inflation and $ 5-gallon, gas re-election does not look good for the Biden presidency. However, we have seen other presidents come back from behind in the past. Ronald Reagan trailed Walter Mondale in 1983 we all know how that turned out the following year.
A lot can go on between now and November 2024. We will have to wait and see. Ultimately, I believe however this race will come down to one thing. When that question is finally asked, "are you better off than you were 4 years ago?" The American people will give you their answer.
