Micah Messer Announces Candidacy for Alabama House of Representatives

Smith Station, AL - Micah Messer, a dedicated public servant and small business owner, has officially thrown his hat into the ring, announcing his candidacy for the Alabama House of Representatives in District 38.


With experience as a law enforcement officer and member of the Alabama National Guard, as well as being the owner of two small businesses, Messer is running on a platform of transparency, accountability, and common-sense governance. His priorities include stopping government waste, ensuring election integrity, lowering taxes, and supporting law enforcement.


"District 38 is my home, and I want it to continue to be a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family," Messer said. "The people of this district deserve a representative who reflects their values and work ethic—from farmers and industrial workers to firefighters and teachers."


Messer's commitment to family values and opposition to casino expansion in District 38 have also been key points in his campaign.
