Micah Messer, Republican candidate for Alabama State House District 38, has received the official endorsement of the East Alabama Republican Assembly (EARA), a conservative grassroots organization known for its advocacy of small government and constitutional rights.
The endorsement was adopted by EARA on September 29, 2025, and marks a significant moment in Messer’s campaign as he prepares for the upcoming Republican primary on October 21. In a public statement, Messer said:
> “I’m deeply honored to receive the East Alabama Republican Assembly’s endorsement for Alabama State House in District 38. The EARA is a group of small government conservatives who believe in our Constitutionally protected rights. Their support strengthens my commitment to fight for small government, protect our freedoms, and uphold the values that make Alabama great. Thank you, EARA, for trusting in my conservative leadership.”
The EARA endorsement follows Messer’s earlier recognition from National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR), a national organization that advocates for uncompromising Second Amendment protections. GOA cited Messer’s commitment to gun rights and limited government as reasons for their support.
Messer, a veteran of the U.S. Army and former police officer, has positioned his campaign around fiscal responsibility, public safety, and election integrity. His platform includes support for regular election audits, opposition to government waste, and increased resources for law enforcement.
As Alabama politics and election news continue to draw attention ahead of the 2025 and 2026 legislative cycles, Messer’s endorsements from both local and national conservative organizations may help consolidate support among Republican voters in Lee and Chambers Counties.
The Republican primary for District 38 will be held on October 21, 2025. The general election is scheduled for February 3, 2026.
