ONEONTA, AL —

In a sweeping show of support, more than 50 law enforcement officials from across Alabama have formally endorsed Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey in her bid for Attorney General. The announcement, made during a press event in Oneonta, marks a significant moment in Casey’s campaign, signaling strong backing from prosecutors, police chiefs, investigators, and victim advocates statewide.

The coalition includes active and retired District Attorneys, Chiefs of Police, Special Agents, State Troopers, and leaders from victim advocacy organizations. Their endorsements reflect Casey’s reputation as a tough, principled prosecutor with a long-standing commitment to victims’ rights and public safety.

> “Alabama has a choice to make, and I pray they choose the proven prosecutor who is ready to lead,” said Walt Merrell, District Attorney of Covington County and Vice-President of the Alabama District Attorneys Association. “For the sake of victims, for the safety of our communities, and for the rule of law—Alabama needs Pamela Casey as our next Attorney General.”

Jaye Loggins, former Chief of Police in Mountain Brook, praised Casey’s understanding of frontline law enforcement challenges:

> “Pamela has proven she has the backbone to fight crime, defend victims, and uphold the rule of law.”

Jimmy Baldwin, Chief of Police in Oneonta, added:

> “She has real experience prosecuting criminals and standing up for victims, despite political pressures. She has always had our backs.”

Shelly Linderman, Director of Wiregrass Angel House, emphasized Casey’s victim-first approach:

> “Justice is not about politics—it’s about protecting people. Pamela Casey has always put victims first.”

Casey responded with gratitude, saying:

> “I am humbled to receive the endorsement of these men and women. I know how hard they work and how much they sacrifice for our communities, and I greatly appreciate their trust. As Attorney General, I will continue to fight relentlessly for Alabama families, support the men and women of law enforcement, and uphold the Constitution without compromise.”

With nearly two decades of prosecutorial experience, Casey has led high-profile cases involving capital murder, violent crime, and human trafficking. Her campaign platform emphasizes law enforcement support, conservative values, and a victim-first approach to justice.

As the race for Attorney General intensifies, Casey’s endorsements from law enforcement may prove pivotal in galvanizing voters who prioritize public safety and prosecutorial experience.
