Merlot, Push Polls, and the Ghost of Finebaum Yet to Come
After the person wanted to know who I plan to vote for in the primary. I gave them a name. Next, they included Paul finebaum's name and asked who I would choose. Cornbread, Coach, and Cold Showers: Tuberville’s Wink Shakes Up Alabama’s Lt. Gov Race
Those pics had to be a wake-up call for Allen—like a cold shower in January. Startling, jolting, and eye-opening. Allen already faces problems running against Rick Pate. Everybody likes the Commissioner. He is as lovable as buttered cornbread with fried chicken after Sunday go-to-meeting.

Gravy In The Pie Crust: ALFA's Odd Endorsements
Now the next two picks conjure visions of 30 pieces of silver, with ALFA betraying Senator Jack Williams, who is running for Agriculture Commissioner, and putting the knife in the back of current Ag Commissioner Rick Pate, who is seeking to be the next Lieutenant Governor. A Pivotal Election In Alabama: The Yellowhammer State Stands At A Crossroads
Well, in the old USSR, the citizens could foretell the next General Secretary. Now, I am not saying these men and women vying to serve as our next constitutional officers are Marxist. I have had the pleasure of interviewing many of them. What I am saying is with the herd thinned out, a lack of competition is not good for our Republican form of representative government. Like the late Rush Limbaugh once said, "no one should run unopposed."
